High Holy Day Prayer Book Information (Print books will always be available for in-person attendees.)

High Holy Day Guest Tickets:
Members of Beth Ahabah will receive High Holy Day tickets in the mail during the month of September. Members of the congregation can purchase guest tickets for their personal guests at a special member rate using the  links below. Guest tickets for those who are not members of the congregation are available using the ♦ links below.

Schedule of 2024 HHD Services & Programs

Services and programs below are labeled to indicate whether they will be in-person only, or include a virtual option.
Many of the services require tickets for in-person or a password for the virtual option. High Holy Day tickets and passwords are provided to our members as part of their membership. In-person or virtual tickets can be purchased by members for their guests, as well as by non-members, using the appropriate links at the top of the page. 


S'lichot (Penitential prayers that begin the High Holy Day season)

Rosh Hashanah (The Jewish New Year, and the beginning of the 10 Days of  Awe & Repentance)

Join us for a special congregant-led program: an opportunity for intellectual and emotional engagement to carry you through Yom Kippur afternoon. This year's program will be led by violinist for the Richmond Symphony, Jocelyn Vorenberg.

Neilah Concluding Service @ 5:30pm (in-person or virtual access, ticket or password is needed)

Sukkot (One of Three Pilgrimage Festivals from Ancient Israel, celebrating the harvest and our relationship with nature)

The festival of Sukkot begins the evening of Wed. Oct. 16 and continues until Wed. Oct. 23, 2024.

including Hakafah Torah Processional, Torah Unrolling and Festival Torah Reading of Deuteronomy and Genesis,

followed by a Sundae Simchat Torah Celebration (in-person only)
