The goal of the Barbara and William B. Thalhimer, Jr. Religious School is to enrich our children's knowledge, understanding, and appreciation of Judaism by providing a positive educational environment that will encourage a life-long commitment to the practice of our faith. Students from Preschool through Tenth Grade receive a well-rounded Jewish education with specific focus on Jewish History, Culture, Religion, and Torah.
In ways that are appropriate for each child, we aim to teach:
- Jewish Identity and Values
- Family, Synagogue, and Community
- Shabbat, Festivals, and Holidays
- Hebrew and Prayer
- Covenant and Commandments
- Jewish Peoplehood and the Land of Israel

The ideal is to actively involve the entire family in the deepening of the Jewish experience and knowledge to strengthen faith in God, love of Torah, and an identification with the Jewish people through continuing involvement in the synagogue and the Jewish community.
