The Brotherhood of Beth Ahabah's mission is to engage in activities and projects that provide meaningful service to the congregation while creating an environment to build friendships, explore issues affecting Jewish men, and celebrate our Jewish identity. Such activities include...
  • Conducting a Brotherhood Shabbat service
  • Constructing the Temple Sukkot
  • Support for Temple Youth through financial contributions to Confirmation Classes and Religious School
  • Kiddush cups and candlesticks for B'nai Mitzvah
  • Sponsorship of the Congregational picnic and "Latke Day"
  • Yom HaShoah candle program for the religious school
  • Sponsorship of social events like the Temple Picnic, Game Nights, Dances and Sporting Events
  • Advancing Social Action at Beth Ahabah through financial support of the CARITAS program, the Mitzvah Day breakfast, and move-in assistance for "New American" families
  • Furthering Adult Education through sponsorship of a Breakfast Lecture Series

Brotherhood is a member of the North American Federation of Temple Brotherhoods (NFTB). Membership is complementary during the first year of Temple membership.

Brotherhood Brunches

The Brotherhood of Beth Ahabah is pleased to sponsor a series of breakfasts throughout the year featuring a variety of interesting speakers. Come join us!

Generally all events are held in the Goldberg Auditorium.  Breakfast is served at 9:30AM.  The talk begins at 10:00AM.  Any questions or suggestions should be sent to Rob Davidson (rob.davidson@aftonchemical.com).
